Once in a Blue Moon Dinner and Auction
The 2011 Once in a Blue Moon Dinner and Fundraiser was held on September 10. The events included dinner under the stars, fine wine, and silent and live auctions.
This year we celebrated the Conservancy's 10th year. With your support we have accomplished a tremendous amount in the last decade and we look forward to even more exciting changed in the future.

WHEELS OF THUNDER MOTORCYCLE POKER RIDE
The Motorcycle Poker Ride gave participants an opportunity to see some of the beautiful areas of eastern San Diego County while supporting the work of the River Park in restoring the San Diego River. Riders began at El Cajon Harley and made other stops along the way to Barrett Junction. At each of the stops riders received a playing card--the one with the highest poker hand won!
At Barrett Junction there was a fish fry, raffle, music, and other delights. Everyone had a great time--even the brave souls who were volunteer victims in the dunk tank. Pictures are available on our Facebook page album.
San Diego River Run
The San Diego River Run on May 7 was a huge success! Over 500 people came out to walk/jog/run/stroll the special course that ran along the San Diego River in Santee west of Marathon Parkway. See the article in the Examiner for more details.
