Special Event Volunteers
Energetic and creative people are needed to help with the River Park’s Special Events. Assist in the production of fundraising events by planning, decoration, setting up, working the event and clean-up.
Fundraising events help us to make new friends in the community, bring a broader awareness to our mission and raise the much needed funds for the San Diego River Trail maintenance/development, education and habitat restoration.
The River Park hosts four fundraisers a year.

This event highlights a different part of the 52-mile San Diego Trail with a fun family festival at the finish line.
Rollin' for the River: Wheels of Thunder Motorcycle Poker Ride (summer)
Rev Up Your Engines for this Ride!
This is a noncompetitive self-guided ride in the beautiful back country in San Diego County.
Once In A Blue Moon Auction/Dinner (fall)
This gala is our largest fundraiser of the year. It is a magical event that takes place on San Diego River Trail under the stars, full moon and twinkle of lights.
