E-Scrip Solicitation

A substantial amount of Lakeside’s River Park Conservancy's operating budget comes through eScrip donations.  In case you’re not familiar with this program, it is a free and painless way to donate, or have others, donate to the River Park.   

Responsibilities

1.   Commit to 3 to 6 hours a month

 2.  Approach people as they are exiting Vons Grocery Store or Wal-Mart to explain the eScrip program. It is free, easy and benefits the River Park enormously!

 3.  Educate people on the River Park’s mission, goals, and progress to date.  Provide the appropriate brochure, flyer or hand out as backup for their questions

 4. Complete the eScrip log and turn in after each assignment

Card Club numbers are required

If someone is interested in participating but they don’t have their card club with them, ask if you may phone them at a later date just to get that information from them.  Tell them that this is not a “telemarketing” call.  If they agree,  follow-up at a pre-arranged time to gather the card number.

If someone is using their phone number and no longer know where they card is, but still wish to participate give them the 800-801-4913 number so that they may research their card number.  eScrip will not give us information on another person's account

Requirements

1. Have a commitment to the mission and goals of the River Park

2. Be friendly and out-going

3. Able to follow instructions

4. Able to keep information gathered confidential

5. Agree to complete and return the eScrip log in a timely manner

6. Capable of working independently with little of no supervision while on site

7. Possess good decision making skills and the ability to communicate with River Park Staff as needed

8. Attend schedule meetings and trainings
