Group Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have an active church, school or service organization that would like to help the River Park?

Lakeside’s River Park Conservancy has several group volunteer opportunities available. California Native Planting season starts in November and lasts only until March. Have your group come out and helps us plant trees and see how you made a difference years from now as your trees grow! Besides planting we have other projects such as trail building, weeding, painting, and if you specialize in engineering or construction, we need a ramp and deck built.

Donations are always welcome but shovels and rakes will be provided. If you do have your own gloves it would be good to bring them. Volunteers are asked to wear work clothes and shoes. Hats and sunscreen are recommended.

Minimum group size for weekdays is five. Minimum size for Saturdays is 15.

Project times are usually in the morning, 8am to noon, but other times can be arranged.
