Learn more about what we do at the River Park by joining us for an education program or a hike with the Executive Director. We also schedule private tours and events. Our education talks and upcoming hikes with the Director are listed below.

Batty About Bats
- Saturday, March 16th @ 10am -
Project Wildlife Presenter Don Endicott will come and teach us all about the mysterious and exciting life of bats. Great for all ages!
Rattlesnake Avoidance Training for Your Dog
- Sunday, March 17th, by appointment only -
High On Kennels expert trainers will be at the River Park conducting this crucial training for dogs 6+ months & up.
Fee is $77 per dog and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the River Park.
Native Plants 101
- Saturday, March 30th @ 9am -
FREE CLASS and opportunity to meet with a plant specialist for one-on-one advice. This class is FREE and open to the public and is also recommended for those garden newbies to receive guidance in planning what they may want to purchase at our plant sale on 4/6/19. Bring your questions! Talk led by expert Amy Huie.
Native Plant Sale
- Saturday, April 6th -
San Diego Native Plants that have been grown locally and are ready to find a new home in your garden. You are welcome to shop what we have on-hand the day of the sale and you can also opt to pre-order ($50 minimum). There are a select number of plants that are going to be available by special order only. You can find all plant lists and order forms here.
Can't make an event? Take a private tour of the River Park!
