Matching Gifts

Did you know that you could double your gift to Lakeside’s River Park Conservancy by participating in your employer’s Matching Gift Program?  Many companies match dollar for dollar contributions made to non-profit organizations by their employees.

The employee initiates the matching gift from their company by requesting a form (usually from the HR department), completes it and sends it to the River Park along with their contribution.  The River Park then signs the form and confirms that a donation was received by that person or family.  

Doubling your contribution is easy; just check the list to see if your employer participates in a matching gift program.  For a more complete list, please contact the River Park office or inquire at work whether your company has a Matching Gift program or if they may want to start one. Often times, retired employees and spouses of employees might be eligible to have their gifts matched through their partner's company.
