Outreach
The River Park is committed to reaching out to all of our community. Our goal is to help people understand why San Diego has such biodiversity and why the San Diego River plays such a critical role in the health of all of its fauna throughout the entire region and watershed. We do this by holding workshops and seminars, which bring in local experts on various topics from our bat to our bug populations. We also want people to experience our river at a very personal level by walking the trails, taking peace from the quiet of the river, and the beauty of its ponds and forests.
